Kitchen Canopy Gas Interlock
It has been mandatory since 2001 that a gas interlock be installed in all commercial catering establishments.
An interlock is a safety device that isolates the supply of gas in a situation that is at risk, i.e. gas leak/fan failure.
Laboratory classrooms in schools also require interlocking systems to make sure they comply with current regulations.
