Managing Director Stuart Smith outlined the schools work by leading commercial heating and ventilation specialists Lord Combustion Services when he met Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during a visit to the Black Country.
Stuart and fellow director Greg Jones had the chance to meet Mr Sunak when they were invited by MP Shaun Bailey, MP for West Bromwich West, to attend an event in Wednesbury on Monday (July 24).
Mr Sunak was in the West Midlands as part of a tour to outline the Government’s progress on housebuilding and construction.
Stuart said: “It was fantastic to be invited to join the visit by Mr Sunak.
“I spoke to him about Lord’s work for schools under the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, which provides grants for public sector bodies to fund heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency measures.
“We have helped a number of schools reduce their environmental impact and cut their energy usage through introducing modern systems with state of the art controls so I was pleased to get the chance to discuss this with the Prime Minister
“My fellow director Greg and I were also fortunate to have a few moments of his time for photographs.”
Mr Sunak was visiting the Black Country as part of a day of activity around the Government’s plans on construction and development.
