Projects
Birmingham-based Selwood Pump Company Limited requested assistance from Lord when one of their boilers failed a gas safety inspection.
The Lord project team undertaken a full survey of the site, designing a new system to meet the heating and hot water requirements within the production and office areas.
The new system utilised existing equipment where possible and enabled each of the zones to be controlled individually, controlling areas individually to match occupancy times enabled energy savings to be achieved.
The project was important to us because the outdated system did not provide the functionality and efficiency we need for our work throughout the year. Lord impressed us from the initial visit through to completion, with their team giving us detailed advice including options on design, installation and maintenance.

Other projects
For a national distribution client, Lord installed gas fired warm air heating at a retail distribution warehouse in Northampton.
The work included the installation of gas fired warm air heaters, specified to provide frost protection to the newly installed sprinkler system.
Units were installed each with a heat output rating of 97kW, while bespoke steel fabrications were manufactured and installed to support the units at high level.
New gas pipework was installed to serve each unit. After the final connection of gas, electrical and control services, the units were fully commissioned.
